As one of the last remnants of humanity, you’ll set out alone or alongside up to two other survivors to face down hordes of deadly enemies and epic bosses, and try to retake what was lost.Īll the Good Stuff(TM) and none of the Calories ─ u/OldDaedalus Glad they are doing the right thing this time with Remnant 2 nonetheless, there's no need for exclusivity bs on PC when it comes to storefronts and it can only help the game get the attention it deserves being spotlighted on Steam. This is the official subreddit for Remnant: From the Ashes - A third-person survival action shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monstrous creatures. However in saying so I do find it interesting that Gearbox recently released the new Tales from Borderlands game on Steam day 1 considering how much Randy was shilling the Epic deal and making it out that all games would be a timed exclusive on Epic from Borderlands 3. ![]() It feel like it didn't get the love it deserved once it eventually came to Steam and became more of a sleeper cult hit, it's pure speculation on my part nonetheless. I avoided it due to the exclusivity but subsequently picked it up when it came to Steam and it quickly became one of the top games i've played in recent memory yet I can't shake the feeling that the exclusivity deal hurt them as with other companies. The first one was 100% an Epic exclusive. Originally posted by Mustang0524:Pretty sure the 1st one wasn't Epic exclusive.why would this be any different? Either way, I'd buy it on Epic if it was exclusive. "Yes after a bit I just flat out muted all VO's and turned subtitles on" dont get me wrong I like the tongue in cheek comedy and all, but sometimes just hearing the environment, music, and gun shots is all I want. Oh look I have side mission nearby: HEY THERE omfg shut up already! lol. Well in that 5 minute span I cam across a mini boss encounter: heres another 5 min of dialogue, never mind the encounter was over with before they even finished talking. "Picks up item for claptrap: heres a 5 min dialogue" okay. ![]() I swear there was one moment I was driving from a - b towards the beginning of that game and the characters didn't shut up for a single second the entire time, like I couldn't even hear the SFX because of all the talking. Played BL1 and 2 a lot, I couldn't stand B元 for more than 20-30 minutes at a time from all the constant talking. Honestly this here is my only concern with R2 as well. Remnant and BL1 did alot with less is more dialogue and i hope they keep that. Plus the obnoxious social commentary of any of the writing staff of B元 being anywhere near this game already has me paranoid. Originally posted by HayJaa:? As a Gearbox game im more concerned they will F it up, half assed gameplay with hopes and promises the graphics and dlc to compensate.
